According to the ‘National Assessment and Accreditation Council’ (NAAC)- “In pursuance of its Action Plan for performance evaluation, assessment & accreditation & quality up-gradation of institutions of higher education, NAAC proposes that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure”. In consonance to the above wordings, in Prasannadeb Women’s College (P. D. Women’s College), Jalpaiguri, IQAC was formed in the year 2012 as per the then existing guideline. Since its inception, the IQAC of the college has been playing the pivotal role in the college’s pluridimensional thriving in curricular, co-curricular and socio-cultural spheres.
