    IQAC Objectives

    In view of its multifaceted mission, objectives of the IQAC of the college, following the NAAC guidelines, encompasses:

     

    • To ensure progressive, efficient and timely performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks, such as developing and implementing curricula, and conducting quality assurance and accreditation processes and prudent allocation of financial resources.
    • To ensure equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of society, such as providing scholarships, fee waivers, loans and other financial assistance, ensuring diversity and inclusion in admissions and enrolment, and offering flexible and online modes of delivery.
    • To focus on the relevance and quality of academic and research programmes, such as aligning them with the needs and expectations of students, employers and society, enhancing their rigour and innovation, and promoting interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches.
    • To optimize and integrate modern methods of teaching and learning, such as using digital technologies, interactive media, experiential learning, project-based learning, and peer-to-peer learning, to enhance student engagement, motivation and outcomes.
    • To ensure the adequacy, maintenance and functioning of the support structure and services, such as providing adequate infrastructure, facilities, equipment and materials, ensuring health and safety standards, and offering academic, personal and career counselling.
    • To maintain the credibility of evaluation procedures, such as designing fair and transparent assessment criteria and methods, ensuring reliability and validity of grading and feedback, and providing opportunities for review and appeal.
    • To foster research sharing and networking with other institutions in India and abroad, such as publishing in reputed journals and conferences, participating in national and international research projects and grants, and establishing academic partnerships and exchange programmes.
